Nia’s Story
Nia Lauderdale is a Chicago based personal fashion stylist, brand ambassador who teaches her clients how to figure out their signature style to feel empowered and to find and own their personal power and business prowess.
In 2003, Nia's career started as a fashion stylist in Detroit, MI while working with local designers, photographers and models. After relocating to Chicago in 2006, she began working with Chicagoland professionals and entrepreneurs who were looking to identify their signature style to set themselves apart from others as they moved through various chapters of their lives while staying true to their uniqueness.
Nia’s clientele describes her as a personal stylist that has a keen eye for fit, attention to details, and a fashion innovator. She is always adding that special something to a look while ensuring comfort and honesty with the styling and self-discovery process.
Being a stylist for Nia doesn’t just include ordinary shopping trips and playing dress up, but learning how to use the fundamentals and psychology of fashion to apply individual needs to produce an extraordinary fashion experience.
Nia has been affiliated with Fashion Group International (FGI) Detroit & Chicago Chapters, The Apparel Industry Board, Inc (AIBI); Provided services for a clientele base at retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Ann, Inc. (Ann Taylor & Loft), Mary Kay Cosmetics and W.W. Grainger, Inc. Nia has also done exclusive work for well-known brands including NYDJ, Adidas, Masai Clothing, Tahari, Helly Hanson, Columbia and Under Armour, just to name a few.
